That is kind of hard when you have pushy in-laws and relatives that just
walk in, pick up a DVD and say, "I'm going to borrow this."

I have "my" DVDs and I literally hide them in my armoire just to be sure
the relatives don't even know they exist.

One time, my brother borrowed my trailer. I had it stacked full of junk
to haul to the landfill. I just hadn't the time as of yet. I told him
if he wanted to borrow it, he had to take the stuff to the landfill.
$10 of junk to use a trailer for several days is not a bad deal.

I came home one day and all the junk was sitting in my yard. He
actually took the trailer w/o the junk. When he returned the trailer,
he loaded the trash again. That really pissed me off!

Oh, well. The next time he needs the trailer, the tongue will probably
be locked and the key will be "down at work" or "in the wife's vehicle"
or somewhere but not here.

Relatives... Sheesh

Tony, if there is something that you are that protective of, you simply
do not put it on the list of borrowables. I myself have loaned plenty of
books and if I get tem back, good, if not oh well. The truly hard to
replace I no longer lend.

As for a project -- how hard could it be? I know, I know, famous last
words, but...
