I was remained of one of my favorite Chicago centered pieces of humor.  

An elderly matron was checking into the luxury, 4 star, lakeside Chicago hotel. 
 Apparently forgetting where she was, she demanded a room facing the ocean.  
The quick thinking desk clerk responded, "Of course madam, would you prefer 
Pacific or Atlantic?"
