Nice! They are very calm designs. The vegetables as icons are very good.
One thought is that sometimes different colors affect us in different ways. Its almost a science. I dont know what colors are associated with hungry but it might be worth looking into. Also, I bet your wifes cooking looks great. One of those flash image rolling things might be a good thing so that you can show off what your doing.
