oh is *this* where that remark came from. Personally I don't find it at all surprising that the politicians considered the political implications. It's what politicians do. In fact I made some comments on the effect on the Democrats myself. I dunno if the memo is forged but either way the Democrats should not have made an issue of it. As though there had not been any calculations as to fallout on their end ;P c'mon.
