My friends and I did something like this once. Riding in my friend's little Neon back in high school, one day we were tailgated by some swift black sportscar (Camaro? Firebird? been a while...) Anyway, on the count of three, my friend switched the headlights on and we all leaned forward violently. He smoked his tires getting off our tail. :) Then he flew past, flipping us the bird. Good times....
