I have an original 30GB iPod and I bought my father a 40GB iPod. You can't find us anywhere without them.
I use the iPod just about every weekend as a digital photo storage device (with the Belkin card reader attachment.) to clean off full memory cards. Also as a USB drive to transfer interesting photos and movies to my family when I visit.
