Pope John Paul reportedly given last rites

Pope John Paul, whose health deteriorated suddenly on Thursday,
has received the Roman Catholic sacrament reserved for the sick
and dying, Italian media reports today.

comment: This does not however mean that he is dying, just that he is
in danger of it in someone's opinion. It is not however a sacrament
that is given lightly.
