yes. examining and comparing soil from different states, part of their
history, science, literature and math curriculae.

The math part will be graphing how long it takes to get dirt from a
given state, how many times/people they have to ask, etc.

History part ties in with a state report each kid has been working on
for the last several months.

They are also learning presentation making skills as each kid is
required to put together a PPT about their assigned state (using the
M$ technology grant money there...)
