I'm on day 3 with a mac and I friggin LOVE IT!!! And I mean LOVE IT!, did I mention I LOVE IT? haha
Granted I just bought an older g3 off ebay just to give it a run and see how it went but even that is as faster and certainly more stable than my dell p4 ever was. Personally I think the apperence makes xp look like crap and things work the way you expect them to work and you can update it without crashing it (had 3 putes at dads work crash yesterday from� ms updates) After updating this g3 with more ram and a bigger hd and putting osx 10.3.8 on there and buying it I have only spent less than $200, needless to say I am very happy and cant wait to buy a big boy :) Installing cfm was a bit of a chore but Sean Corfield proved once again he is a true gem and got me through it even though he is sick (hope you feel better!), THANKS AGAIN SEAN!! Ray, the gf has a brand new g4 laptop and that thing just screams, I have yet to see a pc that could even remotly keep up with it. It's just different but so much better. I am going to buy a kvm switch in a few minutes, I can't wait to see it on a lcd screen:) I am seeing some games for macs now as well so I wouldn't discount that quite yet but I really don't know.
