Though for most of us the relationship between CF and Java makes Java
a more logical extension to the skillset than .NET ... not that it's
bad to know .NET, it just doesn't have the complementary nature of a
CF/Java combination. Not to mention other complimentary languages like
CSS, DOM and XML/XSL which are frequently used in unison not only with
CF but with any given web-based active-server technology.

I'm not personally convinced that there isn't still a niche for CF/SQL
programmers -- I still learn other languages anyway.
