It's going to get real ugly if that happens.  They'll call it the
"cruel economics" - I'm sorry Mrs Whatever, we can't afford your drugs
any longer.  You've got 2 weeks to heal up.

The thing is, I'm not blaming it on Republicans vs. Democrats - it's
the government as a whole.  Right now, however, the Republicans ARE
the government.  Now is when they have their chance.  And they're
squandering the better part of a decade spending more and more.

Just like Enron, it'll coming crashing in - it's just a question of
who pays.  Right now, Mr. Bush is setting that up to not be the
wealthy.

To ramble on some more, my Grandparents both lived through the
depression and told me about it; people starving to death, living in
the woods, etc.  My relatives did ok because their parents had saved
money in the 20s rather than spend it.  For those that spent ...
