But that's not going to happen! That's the problem! We could probably do lots of great works if we rearranged priorities, but we don't live in IdealLand. All I'm saying is that there's deeper policy questions here and simply advocating for "the presumption of life" is ridiculous if you're not going to suggest how to pay for such a policy (by which I mean a workable solution, not a blue sky issue dodge). For example, Mr. Bush is cutting the already under-water Medicaid budget which is what was keeping Ms. Schiavo alive, yet at the same time advocating that we keep her alive with Medicaid. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:152683 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
