The dialog is the one part that I didnt' like. As a fan of old time
radio shows, I'm used to hearing corny noir detective mystery lines
being delivered but somehow it just didn't quite work for me in Sin
City. It mostly highlighted for me how poor the writing is in comics.

I made the comparison to Pulp Fiction as well, but the real difference
for me was in the quality of the dialog. I also drew a parallel
between the two thugs talking about the cars and Rosencrantz and
Gildenstern Are Dead. Talk about a drastic difference in the quality
of both the writing and the acting!

But for that, the movie was great. Definitely not for kids! And I
liked that a lot.
