Ok... so I probably shouldn't write this. It is always a bad idea to write something when you are angry. I'm going to regret this.
But screw it, I'm going to write it anyway. About 5 days ago I bought a one gig meory card duo pro from buy.com. The product was back ordered, but they said I could buy it anway and they would send it when ready. Yesterday I got an email from them apologizing that the order hadn't shipped yet. I had no problem with this, but I thought I'd write customer service to see if they could give me a rough estimate. No big deal, right? I figured they probably couldn't do that, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I get my response and... and... they asked me to cancel my order and buy it again. So... am I wrong, or is that just insane? They seriously expect me to cancel the order, purchase it again, even though it is still back ordered? I can't just _wait_ for goodness sake?? And yes, I did respond to them asking the same thing. I just can't believe how stupid their response was. I guess I can look elsewhere, but the price was perfect.
