That was me - I'm not ashamed to say that I share office space with an accountant and insuarnce agent for a reason. I've brought in tech to the office; when I moved in here there were three copper phone lines and a DSL internet connection. Now we have a 5 line VoIP virtual office provided by Packet8. There was no network to speak of; right now I'm working on building a network based backup procedure for the respective businesses. We have a mutual agreement. That's not to say that we don't exchange money as well - I pay the accountant every month for rent and bill him for his portion of the internet connection. I actually charged him for his website but at a discounted rate. He charged me for my taxes but doesn't make me pay for the payroll services I was using. I've bartered car work for web work, web work for graphics works... it's a way to get things done when there's the advantage to doing it that way.
