The Dems couldn't field a decent challenger. I don't know how he won the nomination. I think an awful lot of the country would have liked to see Bush ousted but didn't see Kerry as an better alternative. I think that made as much difference as anything. It was also a huge mistake to run on what either of them did 30 years ago.
Mr. Kerry's mistake was thinking that just because he attended the dance he'd be elected king. He never recovered from the swift boat debacle which cost him the swing vote. Chasing the youth vote was the nail in the coffin. Put another way, it was an extremely close election that was won on strategy rather than mandate; which is why Mr. Bush's numbers have gone back to the toilet. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:153615 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
