Actually you said you were in the market for a cheap dvd player that
would support those options. I suggested bestbuy because most of the
time I go there the people actually know what they're talking about
unlike some other stores where they just pay some clerk to run the
area. They might have an idea or options for you. I would imagine most
newer models would support vcd, I know mine does.. I'm not sure about
divx though.
This is the main reason I bought a DVD burner that supports both +/-
so I can test and burn to fit.
