Talent-wise: Led Zeppelin John Bonham - good but not great John Paul Jones - good Jimmy Page - excellent (although he seemed spotty in concert)
Who Pete Townsend, John Entwistle, Keith Moon - all amazing musicians Beetles - all good (not excellent) except for Ringo who was barely passable as a drummer Stones - all good but their style more than made up for any shortcomings Although musicianship has a lot to do with it - I think you have to measure greatness with vision and innovation and all of the above had that - that's for sure. Too much Plant screeching for my liking though. > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:153718 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
