Ha ha... Funny you mention Anne Murray, a good friend of mine's father was a song writer and was signed to EMI years ago.
He actually wrote many songs that Anne Murray covered. It's kind of neat, there are lots of people who actually covered his music, even Elvis did a cover of one of his songs in the 70s. It was never a hit for Elvis, it was for Anne Murray though. I'm not much of a fan of lighter music, unless we're talking some jazz stuff... but this guy's CD that I have, it's awesome... he wrote some great bluesy stuff too. He was a true song writer, had a gift with words and melody. One of Alice Cooper's drummers from the 70s actually did session work for him too. :-) Yves On 4/14/05, Matthew Small <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Am I the only person who enjoys some lighter music? > > My total favs: > > Peter Cetera > Air Supply > Amy Grant > Roxette > Anne Murray > Journey > Wilson-Phillips > > ok, now I'm about to puke :-) > > - Matt Small > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:153925 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
