Very interesting project, sadly I never knew about it. I honestly
don;t think this changes my position on Java being the thing to learn.
aThough the backing from Novell does give it some good noteriety. Java
is still more portable though and it is also sell sufficient it does
not require some third group to come in to make it port I, and large
companies, like that. Oh its also fairly free, something else
companies like.  Never the less very interesting and it does put a big
dent in my statement :)
