My contacts in MM said that it was either a bad location on a good date or a good location on a bad date (bad for me that is). Pound for pound, the location and date is good for most of the attendees. Religious Jews are a small minority and I highly doubt a change would be made just for us especially if it meant a bad location. It's all about logistics. Can't win everything.
