OK, so I went, I saw, and I conquered. Or something like that.

I love IKEA. So fun.

Bought a bed (a different one that we originally thought -
http://tinyurl.com/bcw54 in white) and put it together last night. Most
of it was easy, one little part was hard...

But the store is phenomenal. The only bummer is that they didn't have
the bedside tables in stock nor the cushions for the two chairs we got.
So we left without those things, and plan on going again maybe next
weekend. *sigh* I will find a good audio book for the ride.

The biggest surprise was that my trusty Subaru wagon actually held the
following things:

* A bed (including sides, head and footboard, slats, and large metal beam)
* two chair frames, and two footstools
* a large mirror (bigger than a standard door)
* two lamps (that were packed like tetris pieces :-)
* many bags of odds and ends - picture frames, a duvet cover, etc. etc.

Very impressive.
