Well, it would be nice, however I don't think there will be true innovation on that front until the Military demands it.
The best way to get alternative fuel source out there would be for the Military to put out a bid to replace the Hum-V, which is in need of replacing. It was a vehicle designed to last for 10 years nearly 30 years ago IIRC. Make the requirements of the Hum-V based on non oil based fuel. > -----Original Message----- > From: Eric Carlisle [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, April 27, 2005 1:55 PM > To: CF-Community > Subject: Re: Bush, Oil prices and Dependence on oil > > Hahaha!!! > I'm just hoping that the high prices will encourage greater innovation > in alternate fuels. > Go, market economy, go! :-) > > Marlon Moyer wrote: > > >As Bill Mar put it last night "Just keep on bitching about the high > >price of gasoline while you sip you $4 mocha grande" > > > > > > > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:155638 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
