huh? I think the point is you are going to the site every day. sure there is
an increased expense for the bandwidth (negligible) - but for the most part
it entrenches their brand and awareness of their site, and creates positive
habits.

And they are selling the item at or below cost so they don't care how many
they could sell. My wife has set her watch alarm to try and be the first on
the deal of the day for sears.ca.

I guess - although I've gone everyday and so far everything has been sold
out.

You'd think they would put up another item - after the item is sold the site
is just using up bandwidth with no possibility of return!
