Depends on your OS, what OS are you using? In Win2K, -double-click on your volume control -select options -> properties -select the recording radio button <this bit varies by soundcards> -tick the list of possible recording sources you might want to use mine are CD, line in, AND Wave out (or something like Wave out, it can vary depending on your soundcards mixer software). -Click OK
Now you should see the volume controls for the various audio sources. -Click the select check box for Wave out mix. Now bring up Sound Recorder (or any other sample recorder) It's at Start -> Program Files -> Accessories -> Entertainment Play something in RealPlayer/WinAmp and hit record in Sound Recorder. Voila.
