No. There was a short-lived American show with the same name, same premise, and same characters. Calling it a version of Coupling is a travesty.
I saw one episode, which happened to be a rip on an episode of the British show I'd seen (the one with the gift-wrapped dildo, if you care). It... it just wasn't funny.
