Santa does come with Christmas. But I had lots of Japanese (lived there for 3 1/2 years) friends who had nothing to do with Jesus, (Shinto and Buddhists) who celebrated the Santa Claus aspect of Christmas.
I don't know if Santa is representative of the three Kings? I've not heard that before but I don't pay much attention to the religious aspects of Christmas. Maybe someone else knows more about Santa's relationship with the religious aspects of Christmas. I'd like to know. Santa is only universal to Christians. I realize you don't want me to bring up religion but do you realize Christmas is religious holiday? Santa comes on Christmas? Doesn't he represent the three Kings bringing gifts or something like that? Time for a beer yet? Speaking of religion, Bishops Finger is another excellent ale.
