So, you won't even know when your ID information is being read. You won't even know your information is being given out.These were the huge fears about the system, and why it previously failed to pass. AFAIK, these issues have not been addressed.
Does anyone know whether ID cards in the UK are like this? We have ID cards in Trinidad, but they are physical cards that must be shown just a like a driver's license that we get from..well..as soon as we are old enough. It is not electronic, it can't be read electronically. If something requires two forms of identification you are free to use that, your driver's license, or your passport.
