So... I'm very, very scared now. I had a second hard drive in my old
machine. I removed it. Carefully of course.

I tried to see if I could install it internally in the machine - but
gave up. I had a kit that allowed you to put an internal drive inside
so it would act as an external drive.

I did that - again being careful.

When turned on - it shows up as a healthy drive - up the right side -
but completely formatted.

What could I have done to nuke the drive - yet it still show as healthy?
