Well yes... responsibly being the key phrase... you're the rare
responsible individual. At which point it's a matter of preference
really... and I've known a person or two who didn't have a land-line.
I get my internet service via DSL so for me it wouldn't make sense to
only have cell service, since if I'm not at home I'm at the office (or
I don't want to be interrupted on the occasions I'm going out to a
movie or social gathering). I had one last year just because my client
at the time was being whiney. I can't complain too much. They
accidentally overpaid me at a time that I really needed the money and
I still owe them hours, since they've not asked me for anything in...
nearly a year now. As far as I know they were happy with my work, so I
don't know what the drought is about other than simple economics.
