These office stories are good. I have a small office with no windows. It is 3 stories above a MRI machine. This kills any attempts at listening to a radio in my office. They will absolutely not pick up. A window office is opening soon and I have put a word in for it. I am not holding my breath though.
Parking is 20.00 a month with a two block walk. Not too bad. I need the exercise so I kind of enjoy it. I even take the stairs to my office with every departure or arrival. For the last three years, we have gotten pay raises at about the 1-2% level. It is not a guaranteed thing though. I won't complain. I feel extremely blessed to have my job.
