Generally, you use port 3389 for Windows Remote Desktop. In your Linksys router, go to the UPnP Forwarding page and add 3389 to point to a single IP address.
Then, you can use the next port, 3390, to point to a different IP address. Do this for each computer into which you want to remote. On your local computer, when you remote into the other computer, you need to specify the port of the specific computer. That will tell your router that you don't want to use the default port but a different port. This is how you can connect to different computers. My Linksys router only has five custom UPnP settings. Also, when I tried this before, I could only connect to one computer. Each time I would try to connect to a second computer, not all at once, mind you, the router would have to be reset. I could connect to *any* single port once, but as soon as I tried to connect to a second port, the router would lock up. I hope you have better luck with me. I haven't tried updating the firmware because I do a work-around. First, I remote into my server. Then, while on that server, I create a remote desktop connection to any computer on my local network. It works great. I know the port but how can I make it go to a different Machine when I want to rather than going into the admin module Of the router and change the IP for redirection?
