Okay, instead of me spending the rest of the day sending out this zip file. I put it up so you can all grab it. www.aaronscholz.com/misc/gmaps.zip
You run it by calling the index.html file with the parameter url="http_call_to_xml_file" For example if you're using it locally, you can do this with the xml file I sent along: http://127.0.0.1:8500/gmap/index.html?url=http://127.0.0.1:8500/gmap/madison.xml I don't have the full spec for how the xml files are supposed to be formed, but if you go here: mygmaps.com You can do some sample ones and see what it generates. This is the same guy that wrote the code. I included the cgi file so you could see the original stuff, too. Note that I didn't add much in the way of error handling or anything. But, he didn't have much in his, either. If it throws an error - you just get a blank google map right now. Have fun. I was thinking of doing up a CF thing to programatically write the xml files...but I should probably do some real work. (Friday is my R&D day, though....;) ) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Find out how CFTicket can increase your company's customer support efficiency by 100% http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=49 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:158293 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
