>How about some stories.....? OK,
We were there for two weeks when we had two people killed in and IED attack that wouldn't have happened if our battalion commander hadn't violated our training and told them to go back down a road they had used to travel into a town. I saw a lot of people crap on the national guard, because we were part timers. 18 months sounds pretty full time to me :) For the first six months in country we had no uparmored humvees. The "humanitarian mission" is so overbearing there that it makes it more dangerous for the soliders. We are at times not allowed to grab terrorists because they know someone or it might piss off a warlord. Newsweek. Need I say more? Basically the big green weenie had it's way with me again. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:158456 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
