There's been a lot of FUD about Adobe buying Macromedia, but Michael and I think it will actually be very good for ColdFusion in the long run: 1. ColdFusion is doing quite well right now (according to statements by Ben Forta at recent conferences) and sales are on the rise. Adobe doesn't have any comparable products so there's no reason for them to kill ColdFusion. 2. Adobe is very good at selling to the corporate market -- and can bring corporate sales of CF to greater heights. 3. Even better PDF integration in CF! Basically, we're in a wait-and-see mode but there's no reason to get all worried. : ) We had a lot of FUD when Macromedia bought Allaire and that worked out well ... So how's the family?
