Somehere built a site where people can post stuff which displays on the front page. The way it worked is that the posts were not immediately live. They were approved by the site owner.
I'm not sure who it was, but I remember it was a personal project. I don't have much more info but I'm sure if the person reads this they will know what I'm talking about.
