Well, so far, the ATF doesn't really seem to give a crap.  After
listening to them blab for awhile it became clear that nobody ever
does this and they didn't know what to do.  So I broke it into 2
questions:

1.) What if they're illegal?  Then the ATF has to take possession of
them, but they didn't know how to legally do that in this case  and,
frankly, they sounded like it would be putting them out to work on it.

2.) What if they're legal?  They really didn't know what to say.
