I'm not sure what you're looking for?  It sounds like the networking issue
is solved, right?  Both places can see and access the file?

Is the problem just the size of the file - it's too slow to work with
comfortably?

It seems to me that a 33 Meg quickbooks file might have some opportunity for
trimming - for example could they archive records older than a certain date?
Could they split the file up into more manageable, smaller, more focused
files?

There really isn't anything to do on the network (besides getting the remote
person on broadband).

Considering the size of the file it MIGHT be quicker to remote into a local
computer to use it (via PC Anywhere or remote desktop connection).  A
dial-up should do that, but it's a continuous drag - if the connection is
flakey it'll be frustrating as all hell (even with a good dial-up connection
it may be too slow to be reasonable.
