So, I get into the office at 7:45 this AM to the strong odor of 
electrical burning.  I figured, ah, we burned some small piece of 
equipment up, no big deal.  I start walking around, noticing the smell 
gets worse when I get closer to the basement door.  Open up the door, 
there's smoke all over the place.  Go over to the electrical panel, and 
it is all charred and smoking.  Cut the power, call the power company 
and fire dept.  Everything was ok, no fires or anything, but then we 
didn't have power at all on the side of the building with the router, 
modem, my dev server, etc.  Ugh.  Had to set up about 15 extension cords 
of varying length to just get online.

Not only that, we have a client who is having MAJOR DNS issues, and I 
can't get in touch with him nor do any testing because I was offline 
until a few minutes ago.  Now I have clients yelling in my ear about the 
DNS issue.

I just can't win today.  I never should have gotten out of bed.

And, I'm supposed to go to the Red Sox game this afternoon, and if this 
problem doesn't resolve itself, I'm gonna have to miss that. 
Aaaaaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhhhh!
