I love it that you're still "on board" with them even though they are in a slump.
Look at the Tigers now. They are pretty darn good. Your day will come. Be patient, grasshoppa. Although, I must say that I am somewhat disappointed with the salary issue in baseball. It's an uphill battle when you are trying to compete with the St. Louis/Boston/New York/Anaheim crowd. Baseball needs revenue sharing and a salary cap so bad it's ridiculous.
