Yes but we invaded their country without provocation and claimed they
violated international laws that we've yet to find evidence they did. 
That's not to say that Hussein wasn't a bad man, but is it your
argument the US should be the world's policeman?  That we should
hopscotch the globe invading countries whose ruling powers are
committing atrocities?  If not, then how was  Iraq different?

To me the great irony is that there very likely wouldn't be an Al
Qaeda had we not gone on our military adventure to Iraq that's turned
out to:

1.) Have nothing to do with WMD,
2.) Have nothing to do with global terrorism, and
3.) Have sucked 90% of our military resources from the war against
global terrorists and put them in the crosshairs of local terrorists.

Military success, like business success, is dependant on the proper
allocation of resources.  Mr. Bush happens to have bankrupted every
company he started and, from the look of our military and financial
balance sheets, he's still doing what he's always done.
