Too true - but I suppose I'd rather see that than another horribly broken thunking layer in the kernel level... Remember all the fun of trying to use Windows 3.1 drivers in Win95? ;^) The "supported" drivers did work... sometimes, but for the most part just turned your machine into a bluescreen mint.
