Not in SF, but I spend some time there occasionally. If you go back to Pier 39, try the vegatarian lasagna at North Beach Pizza. It's the best I've ever tasted. I also love to shop at City Lights bookstore in North Beach. Best thing to order in China Town is Salt and Pepper Fish, although the best Chinese food I had was in Tommy Toys, next to the Transamerican Pyramid.
