Just what we need, more government regulation. How many people would it require to make enforcement effective? Would the agency have the right to monitor U.S. businesses that operate Web sites overseas? Would it have the right to monitor foreign businesses that operate in the U.S.? How would the agency learn about new sites? How would it enforce the shutdown rule? The only thing I see coming out of such an overarching agency is abuse of power.
Thanks, I'll pass. >Ken wrote: >Actually I would like to see something like this in here. For consumer safety I think it's a good idea. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Discover CFTicket - The leading ColdFusion Help Desk and Trouble Ticket application http://www.houseoffusion.com/banners/view.cfm?bannerid=48 Message: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=i:5:159948 Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/threads.cfm/5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm/link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=11502.10531.5 Donations & Support: http://www.houseoffusion.com/tiny.cfm/54
