Wow Gruss, I really wish I knew what to tell you.  My knee-jerk reaction 
would be baby formula - something easy to digest.  Maybe you could use a 
make-shift funnel from from a small cake frosting decoration (the shaped 
tip).  I have NO experience with birds, but that would be my uneducated 
guess.  That's very nice of you to care for the birds.  Good luck!
