yes, I think that biodiesel is a very interesting alternative. And
solar. I know that isn't an option everywhere, but I see no reason why
New Mexico with its sunny and very windy weather (for example) should
not be exporting electricity. I do think that there has been a
mentality of "let's worry about that in 20  years" and the 20 years is
coming due.

by the way, I looked this thread back up after stumbling across the
last half of this show last night. I rather liked the format... my son
(15) came out of his room with his eyes all big from what he had been
hearing ;) and I had to reassure him that it was sci fi, essentially.
