Was hoping you'd respond, as I seem to recall you talking about
Comcast once before.

I'm pretty much resigned at this point to dropping DirecTV and going
with Comcast (in fact, I've got a voice mail into the Comcast CSR that
I spoke to this morning).  The price, along with the On Demand service
pretty much did it.  Unfortunately, now I'm gonna have to go over to
Weeg's place on Sundays during football season to watch the games :)

Your response pretty much confirms it, and just makes me feel that
much easier about making the move.

ps - having had Comcast internet for the past 6 months, I'll also say
that I've not had any problems with their customer support.  The few
times I've had issues, they've been very responsive and very courteous
(also suprisingly knowledgable).  based on that, I have little to no
concerns about customer service being an issue moving forward.
