I'll just follow that up with a big hell yes. Put ads in the Sunday paper, people read that stuff. And make sure the realtor holds the house open, this is a good time of year for open houses.
My wife's real estate site is highly ranked in Google under specific search terms, but the competition is fierce and I daresay the tactics used in the SEO industry, as Cameron mentioned, mean that it is very unlikely you will be able to generate enough traffic on a site for an individual listing to make a difference. In terms of generating traffic to a general realtor site, I told my wife to hire an SEO specialist because the competition for ranking is so brutal.
