I'll just follow that up with a big hell yes. Put ads in the Sunday paper,
people read that stuff. And make sure the realtor holds the house open, this is
a good time of year for open houses.

My wife's real estate site is highly ranked in Google under specific search
terms, but the competition is fierce and I daresay the tactics used in the SEO
industry, as Cameron mentioned, mean that it is very unlikely you will be able
to generate enough traffic on a site for an individual listing to make a
difference.

In terms of generating traffic to a general realtor site, I told my wife to
hire an SEO specialist because the competition for ranking is so brutal. It's
well worth the cash if selling the house a month or two early gets you out of
paying a few thousand dollars extra in mortgage payments.
