I'm not sure - I don't see why it couldn't be. It wasn't at all "cutting
edge".

It was nice as there were a ton of frantic fights with dozens of deadites
(many of which continued to crawl after you after being spilt in half) and a
basic, but satisfying "spell" system (of about 5 spells activated by button
combinations).

You could, for example cast various "control" spells which let you assume
control of nearby deadites for some behind-the-lines reconnaissance. There
were also general attack and summoning spells. Again, not super deep, but
nice.

The plot had a decent time-travel plot and some nice inside jokes (you meet
ancestors and give them advice).

All told it was a solid (but not stellar) game all around. But for fans it
was really great.

The (un-updated) official site is http://www.evildeadgame.com/ - it doesn't
mention a PC version but there is an Xbox version. But the site for the
next game based on "Evil Dead: Regeneration" is available
(http://evildead3.com/) and already lists PC CD ROM as an option. ;^)
