Poor lightbulb. It's been oppressed for years with constant turning on and off and electroshock. In fact *WE* are the ones who instigated this by plugging it into the socket and constantly using it for our own good. We created this situation with our policy of containment! Taking a poor helpless fillament and trapping it in a glass case. What did you expect to happen?
